met up with 8-Gz for some good food at chomp chomp!

despite living relatively near to serangoon, i’ve only been to chomp chomp ONCE in my life and that was like don’t know how many years ago.

i definitely need to go back again! the chicken wing and hokkien mee was YUMMY YUMS!

had satay, oyster omelette and clams as well! but i was too greedy i couldn’t take photos.

tmr is the 2nd last day of struggle. when the 18 comes, i will hand in my 2.4 MCs worth FYP CA2 report.

yes, ONE mere report is worth 2.4 MCs. that is like more than half a module.

zoo

2 days back, i was feeling very happy with my FYP progress, so i decided that i should take a day off to meet bb!

so we headed to the ZOO!!!!!!!!!! I HAVEN’T BEEN THERE IN AGES :D:D:D

i was dressed appropriately, with Paul Frank on my chest

so our first stop at the zoo was … KFC! our brunch! supposed to be breakfast. but obviously, we couldn’t wake up so early so we settled with brunch!

HAPPY! i was in a crazy mood that day cause b n i fell in love with each other again eeeeeeeeeeee so mushy.

over brunch, we planned our route in the zoo! and im proud to say that our planning and timing were PERFECT!

off we went to look at animals!

so throughout our day spent at the zoo, im proud to say that b n i watched THREE SHOWS!

first up was the

rainforest fights back!

the animals in the show made me cry. cause they were so obedient. den it occurred to me.. do the animals actually prefer to be in the wild or would they prefer to be in the zoo having to do a couple of shows a day? i wonder how the training process was like.. sure they were given tons of treats but were they ill treated if they did not listen to the trainers?

hmm i sure hope not. its the zoo after all i expect the employees there to be all animal loving.

next, we rushed off to watch our second show – splash safari!!

i enjoyed this show the best! i am amazed by how obedient carlos was to his trainer. i wonder if the trainer will miss carlos like crazy when she quits working at the zoo.

i wanna be a animal trainer TOO. i think i will be v attached to all my animals. but i wonder if they’ll love me back

i wanna bring Carlos home! i will hug him to sleep every night!!

so by the time the second show ended, it was already about 2+pm and b n i were dead thirsty!

so we went to ah meng’s restaurant for their famous ice lemon tea!

it was indeed very refreshing!

it pumped us up for our final show!

elephants of asia!

b n i sat in the first row! so we got terribly wet from all the elephant spraying haha! i was quite excited initially. till about 2 mins after all the spraying, one elephant poo-ed in the exact pool of water it used to spray at us.

i was deeply traumatised.

this is how the elephants help the mahouts up on their backs! sweet.

Komali is a very famous elephant! sadly i forgot why she’s famous..

and yes, my toe is black. not just 1 toe but both my big toes are black.

i hope they dont interfere with my dancing as DU pracs are coming up!!

so after the 3rd show, b n i were both dead beat! but we persevered and continued roaming around the zoo!

oh ya i insisted on bb bringing me to ah meng’s memorial! because he’s a respected figure in SG!!

then it was about 5pm. we were both gonna fall asleep any moment. so we took a boat ride back to the entrance!

i told you i was a bit crazy that day. because i was too happy to have BBtime

so despite reaching the entrance, b n i took a short detour to hunt for tigers because b insisted on seeing tigers.

don’t ask me why man.

i am a true blue electrical engineer

just 10 minutes ago, i was attempting to debug my program when francis came screaming to me for help because her fan is spoilt.

i was super scared i said “huh francis but i cannot repair equipments!!”

but she assured me that i will be able to help her.

hahahaha so brave me, took out my toolbox and started dismantling the fan plug.

blah blah blah..

AND NOW THE FAN IS FIXED AND WORKING!!!

in conclusion, i must say that my lab sessions in NUS finally came in handy.

i wanna thank my Professors for teaching me well and my parents for giving me boy brains.

(cause boys naturally can fix equipments while girls only play with barbie dolls)

cousin

for one of the rarest times, i actually have a cousin to go out with in singapore!!!

it was her grad trip with her bf! they are gg from singapore, to vietnam (cause he is vietnamese) to hong kong, then to japan and finally back to australia. all over a span of 5 weeks.

so the past few days have been spent trying to juggle between my FYP and cousin time. and i think i did great muhahaha
